Pockets were dangerous for him, too, winking at him with their buttons. Taunting him, more like. The pockets on Navy coats were even more dangerous, with the combination of shiny gold brocade and winking buttons. It was too much temptation, to be honest, leading to his present situation: wrist caught in a strong grip, piercing green eyes boring into his. "Spar Pickpocketing

A Different PathA Different Path   
Patrick always missed his son while he was off visiting with his mother. Though, if he were honest with himself, he missed Emily even more than he did Ben. At least his son lived with him, but he hadn't seen his ex-wife for several months, when she'd come to his father's funeral. That was part of the reason he missed Ben even more. Before John Adams Gates had died, he and Patrick had taken advantage of Ben's visits to try to reconcile, especially as John's health had grown progressively worse. With John dead now, Patrick was usually alone while his own son was gone.

Not surprisingly, when Will went to check on his parents the next morning, he found them curled up into a tight ball together, Abigail all but hidden from view. He returned to the main room, where the others had gathered for breakfast. "They're still sleeping, not that I blame them. I can't imagine what they went through in there."   
"What do we do now, Will?" Charlotte asked as he sat down next to Emily Anne and began to eat his Belgian waffle.   
Meri glanced at his wife, puzzled. "What do you mean, what do we do? We take Uncle Ben and Aunt Abigail home."

Yes, we've done it again. :XD: =unicorn-catcher and I are writing a third National Treasure fic. A sequel to The Greatest Treasure of All and A Treasured Legacy, this one is called:

The Treasure Hunters' Tale

1. Treasure in Plain Sight - While Charlie, Emily Anne, and Jane are pregnant, their husbands, Cris, and Jamie disappear while searching for King Solomon's treasure.
2. Tiny New Treasures - Ben and Abigail become grandparents three times over!
3. Treasure Without A Trace - A month later, Ben and Abigail disappear while on a treasure hunt of their own.
4. Parental Treasure - The families gather together to find Ben and Abigail.
5. Treasure in Southeast Asia - Ben and Abigail are found in the Philippines.
6. The Renewed Treasure Hunt - Now that they've found Ben and Abigial, it's time to go after the treasure.
7. Treasure and Family Honor - This is about family as much as treasure.

There's definitely more to come!
